By Proxy is an audio instalaltion from the Looking Out series. The work includes three objects paired with audio recordings. Each object and audio recording represents an expierience that Elena had with Thomas's (who is currently incarcerated) youngest daughter on his behalf. Elena then shared each expierience with Thomas and recorded his reactions.
